Music Production & DJ Courses

Launch your music journey with us — in person from LA to Barcelona to Tokyo (and beyond), or stay home and join us live, online. Our Music Production & Sound Engineering BA (Hons) pathway challenges you to master recording, vocal production, mixing, mastering, sound design, and advanced DAW workflows — all while developing real-world branding and career strategies. Turn your passion for songwriting into something more. Study with us in person or live online. Our Songwriting & Music Production BA (Hons) pathway develops your skills in writing, composing, arranging, recording, vocal production, and producing — while teaching you how to get yourself in the right places, and get your music out into the world. Through real-world projects and collaboration, and with dedication, you’ll progress with a competitive portfolio.
This program builds both technical and creative expertise in electronic music production, with a focus on synthesis, sound design, mixing, and performance. You’ll train on leading DAWs while developing skills in branding, marketing, and strategic planning. Through collaborative projects and hands-on experience, you’ll prepare for a career in electronic music production, DJing, and sound design.
Advance your skills in music composition, live performance, and creative expression. This program refines your craft in writing, arranging, instrumentation, and stagecraft — while also equipping you with essential marketing know-how. Through real-world projects, and business development work, you’ll emerge prepared for careers in composition, performance, session work, and music entrepreneurship.
This program empowers artists to take charge of the business side of the music industry. You’ll build expertise in artist management, music marketing, branding, licensing, and revenue strategy — while developing the entrepreneurial skills to grow and sustain your own career. Through market analysis, business planning, and live industry projects, you’ll be ready to enter the field prepared for roles in music management, A&R, digital marketing, event promotion, music publishing, and independent music entrepreneurship. Past students of this qualification include Ed Sheeran and Jess Glynne.
This is a course for people who are serious about their aspirations to produce high quality electronic music. In classes of no more than seven people, the Garnish student gets tutored by top-drawer electronic music producers and DJs. They also get the chance to record and release tracks, partake in remix projects and compose and create for all manner of media, like computer game soundtracks and advertisements.
As well as homework, and the 360 hours of time in the classroom (that incorporate timely mentoring sessions), the course participants get to write and produce, mix, and master their own EP.
Our Electronic Music Producer Program in Ableton is a 120-hour course (with one-to-one mentoring), that has been designed for music producers wanting to get a great understanding of electronic music production. This is world-class training and mentoring of the highest order in the Ableton Live Suite. Students will produce a fit-for-release EP of their own work during a 6-level program, that will see them gain Garnish’s own Ableton Producer certificate upon successful completion of the course.
This course promises 120 hours (plus one-to-one mentoring) dedicated to giving the avid student the capability to create and produce professional-sounding songs in the most popular genres of music. Via a mix of timely mentoring and hands-on learning, participants can have their own completed project ready to go by the end of the course. No more Garage Band for them!
Learning Logic Pro, and all of its many add-ons, will result in a comprehensive knowledge, that will allow the Garnish student to command a DAW that offers tremendous power. This program covers the necessary tools effectively and efficiently to furnish students with the know-how to produce music that can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the quality of many of today’s favorite artists.
